Here a bit about me.
I was raised in the west coast and I have lived in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Germany and Belgium. I was also based in Cincinnati, New York, & Boston for short periods of time for work. No, I'm not military. However, when I was younger I took advantage of every job that involved traveling. This is why I feel I will live in North Carolina the rest of my life. I have lived in many places, and none have compared to North Carolina and especially to Lake Norman. If you are facing your first move, I can give you volumes of helpful hints on everything from packing to finding your niche in your next home town. If this is your tenth move, I understand your time crunch both for getting to your new community and getting acclimated. I've been in your shoes and my experience is a huge asset.
My background, prior to Real Estate, was in Aviation as a pilot. I have a bachelor’s degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida and achieved my pilot licenses in Washington State, Florida, and Germany. I have lived in many states and a few different countries. You may ask... what does that have to do with Real Estate? It has everything to do with Real Estate! To be successful in Real Estate an agent needs attention to detail and a desire for perfection. I bring the ability to communicate with different types of people and cultures, along with exceptional negotiation skills. My first year in Real Estate I was awarded Rookie of the Year and my business has been booming every since.
Personally, I am a mom and a wife. I have two small children. My daughter Madison was born in 2003 and my son Aaron that was born in 2005. I meet my husband while we were both working as pilots flying Boeing 727's in Europe. My husband continues to fly for a living and is a pilot for UPS Airlines. I'm a cancer survivor (Hodgkin's Disease), and know that you can't always judge a book by its cover. We all have challenges in our lifes. Real Estate is a full-time carreer for me, however my goal this year is to give back by flying as a volunteer for Air Hope (Angel Flight) a few time this year.
